About the Role

As a Front-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining user interfaces for our web applications. You will work closely with designers and back-end developers to create responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance websites. You’ll use modern frameworks like React (or Vue) and help bring interactive and dynamic experiences to life, including 3D visualizations with libraries like Three.js or Babylon.js.

Required skill set:

• Front-end Development: Mid-senior level experience with understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Modern Frameworks: Proficient in React, (or Vue).
• Core Technologies: Expertise in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and responsive design.
• Data Handling: Experience in streaming and managing large datasets.
• 3D Visualization: Familiarity with 3D libraries such as Three.js/Babylon.js.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have:

• Experience in database management, including data modeling, schema creation, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in SQL and other database query languages.
• Skilled in working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement and debug API integrations.
• Familiarity with Python and Golang.

Familiarity with Linux systems.
• Experience with Git workflows and integration.
• Knowledge of front-end development (React, Vue, Javascript/Typescript).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Practicalities

• Location: Based in Schiedamsedijk, Rotterdam, NL.
• Hybrid Working: Minimum 1 day per week onsite to build strong team dynamics. Remote work is possible on other days.
